This event is the launch of the Winter MBA Regatta.

The emphasis of this event is high caliber competitive sailing with 14 identical 42’ Beneteau First 40’s in the stunning warm winter location of Lanzarote. Additional charter boats will be available for second or third crews of each school.

Two programmes will be based from the five star Marina Rubicon:
Program 1 – 3 day rally (Monday 9th Jan to Wednesday 11th Jan)
Program 2 – 2 day regatta (Friday 13th Jan and Saturday 14th Jan)

The registration fee will be 590,-€ (Program 1) or 420,-€ (Program 2) per person, not including your travel.

- Meet at designated restaurant at 19:00

Tuesday 10th January
- Puerto Calero to Corralejo (Fuerteventura)
- Corralejo: touristic old town and marina
- Meet at designated restaurant at 19:00

Wednesday 11th January
- Correlejo to back Marina Marina Rubicon
- TBC: Lunch visit to Isla de Lobos
- Chill out in local bar

Thursday 12th January
- Training day or local activities
- Boats available at noon for those who have not booked Rally
- 19:00 ‘Around the pool cocktail party’: welcome drinks and buffet

Friday 13th January
- 07:00 Quayside breakfast until 9:00
- Three races in area between Playa Blanca and Isla Lobos
- 10:30 start – 17:00 finish
- 19:00 ‘Live music party’: Racing results, buffet and dancing

Saturday 14th January
- 07:00 Quayside breakfast until 9:00
- Three races in area between Playa Blanca and Isla Lobos
- 10:30 start – 17:00 finish
- 19:00 ‘Fancy dress party’: Prize giving, buffet and fancy dress disco

Sunday 15th January
- Depart Boats 9 am

Nearest airport is Arrecife
Travel to Marina is a 40 min taxi ride
Boats sleep 8. Additional evening passes can be purchased separately at the Marina

Five star hotel accommodation is available from adjoining Hotel Volcan at EUR 80 per room per night (reservat5ion via Alison)
